Around the world 2 billion people don’t access to safe drinking water. A staggering 3.5 million people die each year from water-related illness and 1 in 5 children are without clean drinking water. In Pakistan alone, 21 million people lack access to clean water. 41% of deaths are linked to a lack of clean drinking water and experts predict the country could run dry by 2025.

Water pumps play a powerful role in alleviating water poverty. By tapping into groundwater or safely distributing surface water, pumps can provide communities with a reliable, nearby source of clean water.
